Apzumi Spatial

Augmented reality
for 21st century business

Let's talk

Apzumi Spatial is a platform that supports and optimises staff work.

Augmented Reality improves employee competence by giving them instant access to knowledge, monitors and supports their actions. Apzumi Spatial makes possible what was previously impossible - knowledge is a real asset of the company, which all authorised people can use.

On the technical side, the Apzumi Spatial system integrates an organisation's knowledge (both documented and ephemeral) into a unified environment and manages its resources, accessibility, security and communication with users. This communication is carried out using state-of-the-art visualisation techniques.

Areas we support

Knowledge base

The foundation of the Apzumi Spatial system is the Knowledge Base - responsible for access to current resources, their updating, selection and security. The application enables quick and easy access to information about a machine, process, place or person. Current data are always at hand - just scan the QR code and they will appear in any space.

Logistics

This application enables the design of special containers using 3D models. Once designed, the containers are tested for compatibility with transport systems, target locations and the assembly line environment. This saves a lot of time and money as the whole process is possible without building a physical prototype of the container.

Training and coaching

An application for training and coaching in a virtual world. Employees go through the process of assembling a chair without wearing out its physical components. They learn to recognise parts and the order and method of assembly. They go through the whole process on their own - without an experienced worker next to them.

Remote support

A remote connection to an expert allows a consultation with a person from another location who, through the use of augmented reality technology, sees the same thing as the person who needs support. These people can talk, chat, exchange different kinds of files, place holograms in space, point out things to each other.

Production

Employees receive visual instructions on a specific process that they follow step by step through the application. They tick off the steps one by one, all the while having access to the necessary information and additional materials to support their correct execution.

Sales and marketing

The use of augmented reality in marketing and sales allows us to create modern and engaging product presentations. This technology can be used as an element of games, interactive catalogues or surprising visualisations e.g. at fair stands. The trends are clear - more and more marketers are reaching for tools that attract customer attention.

How do we work?

Step 1
*1 day

Workshops

Workshops are conducted when Apzumi Spatial solution is expected to be used in a non-standard scope, going beyond the standard functionalities. The workshop enables both proper execution of the implementation project itself and selection of appropriate technologies and devices, as well as preparation of the Customer for the implementation work and subsequent operation of the system. In most cases, if it is possible and reasonable to use Apzumi Spatial standard, there is no need to conduct a workshop, which saves time and budget required for the project.

Step 2
*4-12 weeks

Piloting

Pilot implementation consists in realization of the Project within a limited scope - e.g. in one selected location, in order to service one selected process and/or for a limited number of selected users. Pilotage is aimed at practical testing of functionality, work ergonomics and administrative operation of the system (including security), as well as collecting all remarks in order to introduce possible corrections and additions before implementing and launching the system on a full, target scale.

Step 3
*4-8 weeks

Production

Full implementation and commissioning of the system for ongoing operation. Also includes integration with the company's existing IT ecosystem (cooperation with ERP, PLM, MES, SCADA and other planned systems). During the agreed initial period of operation, administrators and users are under the increased care of the manufacturer / supplier.

Step 4

Scaling

Ongoing vendor/supplier support during the normal lifetime of the deployed solution, collection and analysis of performance data (to the extent agreed, in consultation with and with the agreement of the customer) to optimise system performance over time. Delivery and installation of new versions and updates. Possible system extensions beyond the scope of the project.

Recommendations
"As part of the AR Container Planning project, we have created a library of the packaging and parts that make up our cars. Being able to visualise their virtual models without the previous need for warehouse staff and a forklift takes us into another dimension of planning."
